• In this tutorial we take you behind the scenes on a full day photography studio shoot with not one Flash Masters Ambassador, but two! In this tutorial both Henry from Big H Studios and Christian Cardona work together to create countless beautiful and stunning images of our model, Elle, both indoors and outdoors and with natural light and off-camera flash.
• At over 90 minutes long, this tutorial is a goldmine of information, advice, entertainment and inspiration and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!

This was a unique opportunity for us to bring both Nigeria-based Henry and Colombia-based Christian together, as their paths crossed in the UK. Christian was in the UK as two days before this shoot he hosted his two day wedding photography workshop, sponsored by Flash Masters, in UK. Such is Christian’s reputation in the photography industry that Henry traveled to the UK from Nigeria to attend the workshop – and whilst here he very kindly offered to help us create content for our members. Before he knew our plans with Henry, Christian was planning on visiting London on the day of this shoot, but as soon as we told him that we had organised this studio shoot day with Henry, he immediately changed his mind and wanted to shoot with Henry instead! This just shows the respect and admiration each of these amazing photographer have for each other.

Based in Nigeria, Henry is one of the world’s best and most creative wedding and portrait photographers. Henry’s work is exceptional. His images transcend photography and are pieces of art. Henry’s work belongs in art galleries, such is the beauty of his images. Put simply, we are in awe of his work. But it is not only Henry’s work which we love, it is also his passion for education and helping other photographers. As you will find out in this video, Henry is a truly gifted teacher and educator and he has a natural ability to communicate the fundamentals of lighting.

And what more can we say about Christian? Easily one of the most gifted, creative photographers in the world. Watching him work so quickly and effortlessy at his workshop in Manchester was truly an honour and despite the fact Christian was shooting so quickly in a very difficult space that day, surrounded by photographers, the images he was creating were all world class. You will get an understand of Christian’s talent, and ability to transform a space with off-camera flash, in this tutorial.

We cannot thank both Henry and Christian enough for all their time and effort in making this tutorial. We are incredibly thankful and grateful to them both. We would also like to say a huge thank you to Martin and Alina for all their amazing work and help on this shoot, we couldn’t have done this without you.
