This class is split into two different sections: in the first part I will be talking about basic traits of graphite pencils, how to handle them and show some studies to practice the basic shading technique. These are the fundamentals fo realistic drawing and I highly recommend you master it!
In the second part I’ll introduce my favorite blending tools and we’re going to put to practice everything you learned in the previous videos.
This class doesn’t require prior knowledge, because there are secrets that make realistic drawing accessible to anyone. Anyway, I believe this class is specially designed for beginners in realistic drawing.
In this class you will learn:
- All the materials I use for realistic drawings in graphite;
- The basic – and essential – shading techinque using only graphite pencils;
- What are blending tools and how to use them in the right way.
