That’s the freedom I experienced when I switched to doing all my work on the iPad , sitting around wherever I pleased to be at, traveling on a train , stretched out in a cafe lounge or just sitting in my favorite spot by the window at home. Still creating work !
This detailed class is for anyone who wants to do a professional storyboard completely on an iPad using procreate app. All you need is an iPad with procreate on it and an Apple Pencil.
I will share with you the easy shortcuts I use , which I have developed over the years creating storyboards on procreate!
Back in 2014, I started using procreate to do my storyboard assignments. I was amazed at the time saved and the speed that I gained with Procreate ! And along the way I found this work flow! Or rather this work flow fell in place, as I stuck with the best and simple route to getting work done fast and more efficiently.
Before iPad + procreate , I was still sharing work online. ( by email ) I was using my Wacom tab coupled with photoshop ( and before that while I was drawing my boards on paper and scanning them to be emailed). With iPad, I was able to share work as I was working on the job, without having to get off the work and arrange to share work. (Especially when the client was all over me, calling to check how the work was going on!
I’ve chosen to demo the advertising Agency kind of storyboards ( called TVC Storyboard) as these are always hurried and last minute jobs,, yes well paid, but fast paced! Which suits best as a training video since the workflow is the same , but there a bit more excitement here, ( and it helps keep the class short too, although it is still a pretty long one , as i didn’t want to exclude any part )
