Then she retouches the skin, using frequency separation for smoothing and texturizing skin, then dodge and burn for contouring and depth. Additional steps involve applying makeup digitally, adjusting the subject’s proportions through liquify, and enhancing the photo’s atmosphere by applying backgrounds, textures, and lighting effects.
